The Beauty and the Beach Fine Arts and Fine Crafts Festival in held in Kolb Park, across from the Beach Art Center at 1515 Bay Palm Boulevard, in Indian Rocks Beach. It is part of a city-wide celebration that includes a Beach Party, 5-K run, restaurants and more. the Beach Art Center takes pride in presenting the work of emerging and established artists and craftsmen to the people of Pinellas County. This project is supported in part by the City of Indian Rocks Beach.

Chalk Walk 2012
Chalk Walk 2012, a feature of Beauty and the Beach, is an opportunity for creative people to get out into the street and design their own individual artwork. It is modeled after the Italian tradition of street painting, which dates to the 16th Century. Using pastels as the medium, artists are assigned squares in the street in front of the Beach Art Center. The artists may create their own painting, copy from a famous work or just let their imaginations run free.
Artist and Sponsor Information
CHALK WALK 2012 sponsorships are $100 per 8’x8’ space. That sponsorship includes a Chalkwalk 2012 T-shirt, publicity in local newspapers, also on Facebook and our website (beachartcenter.org), and your name on signage at the show. There will be a placard placed beside each square with the sponsor’s name on it.
