Monte Carlo Night Fundraiser
The Beach Art Center is holding its annual Monte Carlo Night Benefit on Saturday, February 4, 2012, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. This high profile event is the most important fundraiser of the year for your non-profit Art Center. Enjoy a full evening of delectables and libations at a full cash bar, Roulette, Black Jack, Texas Hold ‘Em Poker and Horse Racing played with ‘funny money’. A silent auction and live auction of unique and desirable items of art, opportunity, travel and memorabilia compliments the action.
Live entertainment is included in the ticket price to Monte Carlo Night which is $35 apiece. Tickets may be purchased two for $60 before January 1! Your ticket includes game chips for playing the games, hors d’ oeuvres and more. Call ahead to ensure availability. Beauty and the Beach Fine Arts and Crafts Festival 2012

The Beauty and the Beach Fine Arts and Crafts show is held in Kolb Park, across from the Beach Art Center at 1515 Bay Palm Boulevard in Indian Rocks Beach. It is part of a city-wide celebration that includes a Beach Party, Fun Run, Restaurants and more. The Beach Art Center takes pride in presenting the work of emerging artists and craftsmen to the people of Pinellas County. This project is funded in part by the City of Indian Rocks Beach.

Chalk Walk 2012
Chalk Walk 2012, a feature of Beauty and the Beach, is an opportunity for creative people to get out into the street and design their own individual artwork. It is modeled after the Italian tradition of street painting, which dates to the 16th Century known as L Madonnari (street painters). Using pastels as the medium, artists are assigned squares in the street in front of the Beach Art Center. The artists may create their own painting, copy from a famous work or just let their imaginations run free.
Chalk Walk 2012 sponsorships are $100 per 8'x8' space. If you don’t want to be the artist, we will furnish one! That sponsorship includes a Chalk Walk 2012 T-shirt, publicity in local newspapers, also on Facebook and our website (beachartcenter.org), and your name on signage at the show. There will be a placard placed beside each square with the sponsor's name on it. Ask your neighbor if they would like to share in a sponsorship.
