Art Camp

9 - Noon
Students will explore printing methods with various gadgets and raised cardboard and tye-dye art.
Paper projects will include marbling , papier mache masks, and using crepe paper in mixed media projects. Beautiful mosaic treasure boxes will be constructed using stones and old jewelry. Techniques of sponging, brush techniques and various media exploration will be used on keepsakes that will always bring back fond memories of this summer art experience.
Cartooning and photography will be combined in hand-tinting your own photograph and transforming it into a cartoon character.
This wonderful program is geared to developing young creative talent into a lifelong love of the arts and providing a foundation of basic art knowledge and use of various media.
The fee for this 9-Noon Camp is $95 per week. A child may enroll for multiple weeks. A $10 materials fee is also charged. A snack is included.
At 11:30 each week, parents are invited to a "reception" to view their child's work. This is a big moment for the children and we encourage parents, grandparents and friends to attend.

9 a.m. - Noon for ages 7-11.
1-4 p.m. for ages 12- 15.
" Miss Jane" teaches pottery to all ages. She excels with children and has had a successful afterschool program this year. Her students will learn handbuilding techniques including coil, pinchpot and slab. Students will learn to use glazes, the extruder and slab-roller. Older students will learn the use of the "wheel".
The fee for each session is $95 plus a $20 materials fee which covers clay, glazes and firing.
A snack is served.
