The yellow and orange bird of paradise is a popular painting subject. But its sinuous and paddle shaped leaves create fascinating patterns and shadows. Stately bird concentrates on the leaves. Learn basic watercolor techniques such as mixing colors, blending on the page, wet on wet and wet on dry.

Terry Denson
Terry Denson is a popular local instructor and an award winning artist. She is active in the local art community and a past president of the Florida Watercolor Society. She has been traveling the country in her RV for the past year, painting as she goes. She is known for large, vibrant and cheerful paintings.
