Meet your Instructor...
In 2020 I retired “officially” after 33 years in public education. Art, Education and a love of learning have always played crucial roles in my life. Locally, I coordinated the the National PTA Reflections program providing opportunities for recognition and access to the arts for over 300,000 students each year in Pre-K through Grade 12. I managed student Destination Imagination teams, an international organization in creativity and problem solving, with children of all ages. I continue sharing my love of art and creativity in community programs such as: Art Rocks the Park, Boy Scouts, Creative Arts at the Erie County Fair, and providing instructional classes for all ages in my community. Although I love creating in nearly all mediums, my favorite resources are natural and recycled materials. Rather than filling landfills, I collect and create from bottles, caps, driftwood, broken china, shells, pebbles, branches, old furniture, pallets and even old bowling balls.
