Ceramic House Numbers
This class is an easy introduction to working with clay to create your address for your house or mailbox. Students will have fun creating their own designs on numbers they have cut from clay and learn the basics of using underglaze to create their beautiful designs. Come and have fun hand painting your house numbers with step by step demonstrations. Your work will need to dry before it is fired in the kiln, which takes about a week, you will be notified by text, email or a phone call when your numbers are ready to be picked up.

After years of creating art and some years teaching others how to make it, I have become aware that so much of the joy of what I do is about the connections made with other people while teaching and creating. I am an experienced art teacher who has taught at Pewabic Pottery in Detroit. I have taught at public schools in Michigan, Arizona and Florida.
