"ART ON THE ROCKS"
Big, Loose Peony Painting
Let’s paint a big, pink peony that’s loose and layered. It’s fun and easy to learn. No paintbrushes or painting skills required – we’ll use palette knives to slather and swipe the paint on your canvas. We’ll start by painting a colorful background of your choice – pretty peach, soft sage, or vibrant turquoise.
All materials provided. We’ll be using acrylic paint which is messy and does not wash out of clothing so please bring a smock or wear old clothes!

Meet your Instructor...
Kate Phillips
Kate recently retired from a long career as a Graphic Artist. With extensive knowledge of computer graphics and digital design, Kate is now happily ‘off-line’ and rediscovering her love of hands-on, fine art. Working primarily in mixed media designing collages with paper and paint, she also continues to hone her skills in watercolor and acrylic painting.

"Art on the Rocks" class fees are Non-Refundable. Our teachers reserve a spot and purchase supplies just for you! Any agreement to cancel a registration for a full or partial refund will be made at the sole discretion of the instructor.
