Weekly Class - Begins 9/12
Drawing: Pencil, Charcoal & Pastel
Cheryl Yellowhawk
Instructor:
Tuesdays 9am-12pm
In this class Cheryl will discuss and demonstrate fun and creative ways to use a pencil, charcoal and pastel. Cheryl will be focusing on drawing the face, hands, and feet using the basic anatomy structure.  We will begin with the structural bones and muscles and move onto drawing the features using charcoal pencils, grey scale soft pastels and portrait pastels.  We will develop generic portraits in pastel from lighter to darker skin tones.
This class is for beginners and those who want to review values, color and basic fundamental techniques. We'll be using pencil, charcoal, pastel, conté and other mediums.
This class is for learning these techniques, mainly exercises. Every now and then one of your exercises will be something you love and will consider a finished art piece.
