Combine a fired clay pot with weaving to create a sculptural vessel that fuses two ancient techniques!
Students will combine their hand built ceramic pot and weaving to create a modern vessel form inspired by ancient times. Students will also look at the ancient culture of the Aboriginal people. They will create paintings of symbolic animals using dots. Students will learn the clay hand building technique of pinch pots and glazing, they will also learn how to work with acrylic paints.

Camp Fee: $225 (Members $200)
All Supplies Included.
Art is messy! Wear clothes the kids can get dirty.
Bring plenty of water to drink, snacks, and a bagged lunch.
Snacks, bottled water, and juice boxes are available for $1 each.

After years of creating art and some years teaching others how to make it, I have become aware that so much of the joy of what I do is about the connections made with other people and art. For me expression in creativity started with sewing at an early age and spread into other genres such as painting, jewelry making and pottery.
