Make Your Own Mug

Kids will enjoy creating their own personal mug! A pool noodle will be our form to create a unique mug that represents each child. The students will decorate their mugs using cut out shapes to attach to their mug to represent their interest or personality. Students will have access to cookie cutters, or they can cut out their own shapes to attach to their mug. Students will glaze their mugs after making all the attachments.

Please Note: Parents will be notified when the completed mugs are available for pick up after they are fired in the kiln - about 10 days after the class.

(Another fun thing to do - just down the street from us they are having a "Winterfest" at the Cavalry Episcopal Church from 10am-4pm. Drop your kids off with us and go have some fun! Or, take the whole family to Winterfest after the kids take the class.)

Meet the Instructor...

After years of creating art and some years teaching others how to make it, I have become aware that so much of the joy of what I do is about the connections made with other people and art. For me expression in creativity started with sewing at an early age and spread into other genres such as painting, jewelry making and pottery.
