WATERCOLOR STEP-BY-STEP
With Mary Spires
This is a beginner’s step-by-step class, we will explore watercolor techniques that will give you the skill for your journey into watercolors. Weekly classes will teach technique starting with a style of painting that focuses less on representation and more on playful artistic interpretation. Each week we will create a “class project” painting using a specific technique
This is the class for a true beginner, someone that has explored watercolor, or someone who wants to learn/review the basics.
After taking the class students will be able to access the video recording for one week. I hope this will give you the encouragement to practice.
I’ve been teaching over 30 years ….. every accomplish artist will tell you ….
It’s not about talent, it’s about PRACTICE!
Both Tuesday and Wednesday classes will have a new project. The Tuesday evening class will be taught using Zoom Meeting only. The Wednesday morning classes will be live at the Beach Art Center or access thru Zoom Meeting.
Once you have registered you will be emailed a link to join using zoom.
Mary will send class project material list, drawing and written instructions a few days before the class is scheduled.
**Please register a couple days before the class, there is a minimum number requirement.**
