Acrylic, Mixed Media
My collection of work employs the use of acrylic paints and other texture-producing media. I like to experiment with textures, color, design, findings, and depicting a thought or feeling in my work. I use paint, matte and gel mediums, paste and papers to depict different aspects of nature and to encourage further thought. I studied art and design at St. Petersburg College, attended workshops at Dunedin Fine Art Center, as well as Costa Rica, Santa Fe, and San Antonio, Tx. My work has been displayed in shows at the Dunedin Fine Art Center, The Witte Museum in San Antonio, and the Leepa Rattner Museum. I belong to the Creative Artists’ Guild, Tarpon Springs Art Association, and the Artful Souls Artists group. I work from home as well as have a studio (#6) at Stirling Art Studios and Gallery in Dunedin, FL.
