March 2021 Newsletter

You still have this week to view our beautiful Student Teacher Show! Considering we were closed for roughly 25% of this past year, we were blown away to have 97 pieces of art submitted to this show. It is clear by the quality of the entries how our students utilized their lock down period! This show runs through March 26th.

We thank all of those who entered art in this show. Congratulations go to the following award winning artists;

Pat Rella for "Fluted Pot 1"

Andrea Harms for "Violetta's Garden"

Mary Schnierle for "It Takes A Village"

Sandy Meyers for "Flower Market- Nice, France"

Mary Hamilton for "Sunflowers Forever"

Alice Lynch for "Two Egrets"

Sandra Ruppel for "Iris and Pears"

Don Vella for "Edgewater Park"

Laurette Stern for "Blue Eyes"

"The artists create the images and the poets create the words."

Calling all Artists - our "Poetry in Motion"- Show will run from April 5th - May 14th

Art Take-In is March 29 - March 31. Artwork is brought in and hung first. Poets are invited to review the artwork, select one piece that inspires them to write a poem. Poems are then on display alongside the artwork selected.

Artwork and poetry will be on display together through May 14th.

More information about our Art Gallery Shows can be found on our website.
