Support Art in your Community
In 2019 the Beach Art Center Fundraising event, Venetian Carnival, raised over $35,000 in support of our mission:
To Inspire lifelong learning, empower the individual, and engage the community of all ages in the creative arts.
As a not-for-profit, the BAC’s annual fundraiser is a major source of funding in support our mission. This year’s funds enabled an array of initiatives including:
18 Creative Kids Summer Camp scholarships, up 100% from 2018
103 students up from 89 students in 2018, a 16% increase
19 Specialized workshops with nationally and internationally recognized artists, up from 10 in 2018
225 artists attended in 2019 a 36% increase over 2018
All of the above have contributed to growth in membership and revenue. The upcoming 3rd Annual Fundraising Gala, "The Roaring 20’s – Flappers and Dappers", will provide the opportunity to raise the bar yet again!
Looking to the future, our plans call for further enriching and expanding our program offerings to better serve our community. One of several new initiatives we are excited about is partnering with Bay Pines Veterans Hospital to
create an art program to serve the needs of their clients.

Our many programs generate some income, but unfortunately, this income alone is not enough to allow us to continue our mission. We are a 501c3 Non-profit corporation. Building maintenance, insurance costs and the payroll of our small staff take their toll on our budget and your donations help make sure that the Beach Art Center can continue to operate in this community for many years to come.
The Beach Art Center is not a city service, however we are grateful for a wonderful relationship with the City of Indian Rocks Beach and for the donations and support of the many community groups and friends in the area that help us further our mission.
