WATERCOLOR BOOT CAMP
with Susan Wiley
Limited Series Online Class
Online Class (ZOOM)
Instructor: Susan Wiley
December 2021 Session: 12/1, 12/8, 12/15
Fee: $90 for 3 classes ($72 Member)
Do you want to paint watercolors but are frustrated and don’t know how to start or wish it would not take so much time to learn? I am teaching this workshop because it took me many years to get to where I am in my career and I want to help you know the joy of painting without the many years I struggled on my own.
Frankly, I wish that I had encountered a course like this when I first started. I laugh when I say it, but it is true that this three-day workshop will put you at the Head of the Class (remember that game?!). Students may repeat this boot camp to further improve their watercolor skills.
In the workshop, you will:
Learn the techniques of handling an angle brush (my workhorse)
Learn about watercolor paper and paint and which to use
Learn how to mix colors and the reason for using them
Learn how to get rich, juicy colors
Begin developing your own palette of colors
Learn the principles of painting so that your paintings will get noticed
Gain artistic confidence
End up with two completed paintings (or nearly so)
Note: This is an Online course. You must register to receive the "invite" to join the class. We will use the application "ZOOM". You will need a computer, a tablet, or a smartphone in order to participate in the class. Once you register, the instructor will be in touch via email with instructions and a link to join the class. If you do not have any experience with Zoom, don't worry we can help you!
