This is the perfect class for the beginner in watercolor. You will learn which supplies work best, and why. Learn how to get your image to the paper. Learn how to mix colors and which colors to buy. Learn the watercolor terms. Learn values and how to benefit from using them. This class is a step-by-step method of teaching that works! You do not need to know how to draw.
Register with a friend. Plan to have some fun! There will be a lunch break. Bring your own lunch and drink.

(All Kids under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an Adult. If the Adult wishes to participate in the class, they must also register.)

Meet your Instructor
Deborah Barnard
Deborah is an award winning watercolor & mixed media artist. Deb's love of watercolor is evident in the bright, colorful approach she takes when introducing this media to new students. Deb became a professional artist in 2020 when she retired from the corporate world and has gone on to teach regular beginner classes here at the Art Center, workshops and Art on the Rocks classes. She is married to Jim, has 4 children, 4 grandchildren and is a mom to her 3 fur babies, Dexter, Mazie & Louie.
