Going four generations back on my mother’s side, my maternal great grandfather was in Vaudeville and my mother’s father a professional musician. My paternal grandfather had a traveling medicine show in the 1930s in Missouri and Oklahoma. Seeing how I have showbiz in my blood, I started performing in front of audiences when I was 6. My first “regular gig” was in a Vaudeville showcase when I was 10. I first learned comedic improv as a teenager. Since then, it has been a favorite form of entertainment. My production company was first launched in 2001 in Oregon, and was recently relaunched here in Pinellas County. My improv troupe, The Cracked Nut Players, performs monthly.
