Let’s Paint! is an introductory session where students will learn the basics of working with oil paint and impasto medium using brushes and palette knives to create a full-size painting in just three hours. They’ll explore how to layer paint to bring texture, color, and interest to their artwork while enjoying a relaxed, encouraging environment for creative expression. Participants will leave with a finished, unique painting—and a sense of accomplishment—while future workshops in the series will offer new subjects and techniques to keep each session new and exciting.

Chrissy Samson
Chrissy Samson is an award-winning artist specializing in portraiture and landscapes echoing timeless techniques of the old masters. Her work is distinguished by an eclectic style that combines classical precision with profound emotional depth.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, as well as being a distinguished CRI®, Certified Bob Ross Instructor, Chrissy's expertise and passion for art has made her a trusted mentor giving lessons to countless students. As an educator, Chrissy is celebrated for her engaging approach, technical mastery and dedication to fostering creativity in every student.
Chrissy's paintings have won awards and been placed in publications throughout her career. She currently holds workshops in Indian Rocks beach and Palm Harbor, Florida.
