For those interested in a weekly opportunity to play with art supplies and discover special effects using a variety of media, this class is for you. All skill levels are welcome to join in the fun and find your own creative expression through refinement of Mixed Media techniques. There will be a weekly demonstration exploring a variety of Mixed Media effects with collaborative discussions on basic art building blocks of design and color. Open Studio provides ample time to follow your artistic interests. Instructional support and collaborative Brainstorming will create a dynamic creative space for the flow of your artistic endeavors.

(All Kids under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an Adult. If the Adult wishes to participate in the class, they must also register.)

Meet your Instructor...
Deb Vest
Deb Vest, a local artist, has a lifetime of experience in both art and education. From caricatures at IRB neighborhood festivals to murals throughout the Beach communities, Deborah brings a sense of fun and love of color to her art. Deborah is a retired teacher from Pinellas County Schools and taught art education in San Diego prior to her move to Florida. In classes at the BAC, Deb will share her enthusiasm for creativity and respect for all painters at all levels of artistic confidence.
Classes Policy
All fees associated with classes are non-refundable once the class has started. In the event a registrant needs to change or cancel their registration, the registrant should use the link provided in the confirmation email to reschedule to a future class. If the student needs to cancel for a refund prior to the start of class you must contact the Beach Art Center as far in advance as possible. Any agreement to cancel or transfer a registration after the class has taken place is made at the sole discretion of the instructor.
Beach Art Center reserves the right to cancel classes if minimums are not met or for any other reason relevant to business needs. In the event of a cancellation initiated by Beach Art Center, the registrant will be rescheduled or will receive a full refund. Beach Art Center does not hold credits on account for future use.
