Week 2 - Clay Camp - FULL!
Lanterns can symbolize good luck, health, prosperity, or fortune. What will your lantern symbolize? Lanterns are deeply rooted in various cultures around the world. Students will create their own masterpieces inspired by their creativity and the world around them. They will learn the slab building technique to create their own special lantern. Students will also have the opportunity to use an assortment of art mediums to create colorful drawings, paintings or prints.

Kids entering 3rd - 8th grade only
Camp Fee: $240 (Members $215)
All Supplies Included.
Art is messy! Wear clothes the kids can get dirty.
Bring plenty of water to drink, snacks, and a bagged lunch.
Snacks, bottled water, and juice boxes are available for $1 each.

After years of creating art and some years teaching others how to make it, I have become aware that so much of the joy of what I do is about the connections made with other people and art. For me expression in creativity started with sewing at an early age and spread into other genres such as painting, jewelry making and pottery.
