Get ready to add a little sparkle, a lot of personality, and endless creativity to your very own Glamingo! In this fun, mixed-media art class, you'll transform a flamingo into a fabulous work of art using an assortment of glamorous embellishments like sequins, buttons, bows, beads, feathers, flowers, and more.

Each student will create an eye-catching 8" x 10" framed collage that's bursting with texture and shine. (Frames are provided without glass or plexiglass to showcase the dimensional materials.)

No artistic experience is necessary, just bring your imagination and get ready to have fun!

Registration includes:

  • All art supplies and an 8" x 10" frame

  • One complimentary drink ticket, good for one house wine or beer

  • A creative, laughter-filled experience and a one-of-a-kind masterpiece to take home!

Come sip, create, and let your inner flamingo shine–because everything's better with a little glam!

Location: WYNE IRB, 311 Gulf Blvd, Indian Rocks Beach, FL 33785

Kate Phillips

Kate has always loved creating art, beginning with the potato-shaped paper dolls she made at age four and continuing through her later drawings, paintings, and assorted crafts. After a long career as a graphic artist, which involved years of sitting in front of a Mac creating digital designs, Kate now enjoys being "off-line" and rediscovering her passion for hands-on fine art. She takes classes at various local art centers and has attended workshops with several renowned artists.

Working primarily in mixed media, Kate designs collages using paper and paint. She also creates colorful, loose, and playful paintings inspired by modern Impressionism.
