1:00 - 4:00 PM

Choose either an anchor or whale tail template and create a nautical collage using natural, beach-inspired materials.

We’ll begin with a cradled wood panel that you’ll paint and distress to achieve a weathered, coastal look. Using a template outline and step-by-step guidance, you’ll create a colorful design with sea glass, pebbles, and a variety of shells. There’s plenty of room to add your own creative touch!

Kate Phillips

Kate's passion for art began at the age of four with the creation of potato-shaped paper dolls and continued with crafts, drawing, painting and a fine arts degree. After a long career as a Graphic Artist, which involved countless hours spent in front of a Mac producing digital designs, Kate now relishes her time ‘offline’ as she rekindles her love for hands-on fine arts. She participates in classes at several local art centers and has taken workshops with several renowned artists.

Primarily working in mixed media designing collages with paper and paint, Kate also embraces a colorful, loose, and playful painting style influenced by modern impressionism.
