Get Creative on the Pottery Wheel!

Have you ever wanted to try making pottery on the wheel? This fun, beginner-friendly 4-week class is a great way for ages 9-14 to learn the basics of wheel throwing in a small, supportive group.

Students will learn how to:

• Center clay on the pottery wheel

• Use basic wheel-throwing techniques

• Create simple cups, bowls, and other functional pieces

• Trim and finish their pottery

• Explore the basics of glazing and decorating

No pottery experience is needed! Students will receive plenty of individual instruction and encouragement as they learn, experiment, and create their own unique pieces.

What to Bring

• An apron or towel

• Clothes that can get messy

• Closed-toe shoes are recommended
