Course Information

Class fees are established by the Beach Art Center. Instructor payment is pre-set for most class types. Exceptions may apply for workshops and community events.

Course Title

Course Type: (Select the option that best describes your proposed class.)

Instructional Class – Structured instruction within a specific technique or medium, with an established curriculum and objectives. Typically 3 hours. Instructor payment: $17 per student (unless otherwise approved).

Guided Studio Class – A weekly studio-style session where students work independently on personal projects with instructor guidance, critique, and mentoring. Typically 3 hours. Instructor payment: $17 per student (unless otherwise approved).

Instructional Series – A series of consecutive classes (4–6 weeks) with a defined curriculum that builds skills progressively. Typically 3-hour sessions each week. Instructor payment: $17 per student (unless otherwise approved).

Art on the Rocks – Fun, social “make-it-and-take-it” classes where participants complete a finished piece. Duration: 90 minutes–3 hours. Instructor payment: $17 plus $5 supply stipend. If requesting a separate supply fee, please include a detailed supply list with costs (must account for the $5 stipend).

Workshop – Intensive, in-depth exploration of a technique, medium, or concept. Typically held on weekends; duration varies.

Community, Family, or Special Event – Events designed to engage the public in a creative, group activity.
