Join the Party!
Please join us for our annual community celebration on Saturday, March 4th!
Our “Boots and Brushes Country Gala” was so much fun, we decided to do it again!
This community "street party" will take place in front of our building on Bay Palm Blvd and include a delicious BBQ spread, live Country music with the Logan Brothers Band, Live Auction, Raffles, Beer/Wine and Whiskey Bar, and dancing in the streets!
Not only is this an opportunity for gaiety and diversion, it’s a chance to demonstrate your indulgence for the ongoing efforts to support local art in your community.
ATTIRE:
Expect to see a lot of jeans, boots, hats and other "Country" attire.
But wear whatever you like! This is a casual outdoor event, so be comfortable.

EVENT TIME:
6:30pm - 9:30pm
Guests may enter at 6pm to view the Auction House, but drinks/food will not be available yet.
Auction and Raffles will end at 8:30pm

THESE WERE OUR EXCITING
GALA 2022 AUCTION ITEMS!

"JOHN LENNON"
Dane Capo Original Painting
Dane Capo is the truest form of an artist.
Unbridled by self-criticism.
Uncensored by doubt.
Grounded in pleasure.
He paints what he feels, sees, likes.
Dane was diagnosed with epilepsy at
10 months and autism at age five.
His journey since has been anything but expected.
Where Autism created a disconnect from others, Dane’s art broke open a new form of communication with the world. His art transformed into a natural expression of his desire to connect with people.

"LITTLE MAC"
Sheila Tolbert Original Painting
"I chose to paint a calf because of the Western theme of the Gala and the increasing popularity of cow paintings. I chose to paint ‘head to hoofs’ because I wanted to create a one-of-a-kind piece and I have not seen any others like it.

The enlongated rectangular size would look great at the end of a narrow hallway or at the top of a stairway. I used muted tones of greys and slate blues so the painting can go with modern decor.

I have been painting in oils since 2015 and have refined my style and skills by attending Ron Marvin's Oil Painting class at the Beach Art Center. I appreciate all the students and teachers...they are always willing to share their talents and experiences to make me a better artist."

"VENETIAN MORNING"
Violetta Chandler Original Painting
"I discovered this beautiful, peaceful spot on one of my first trips to Italy.
We were painting and decided some music would be nice. Just as Jacques Offenbach's "Barcarolle" began to play, a man on a gondola appeared from behind the bridge! Now every time I hear that wonderful song I think of that
perfect moment."
