Mixed Media classes are a weekly opportunity to play with art supplies and discover special effects using a variety of media. We will be focusing on building skills for our "Creative Toolbox" with monoprint techniques using gelli plate prints to make our own paper, combining collage and painting to build texture, and continue our printmaking journey with white line printing. Artists are also encouraged to bring any personal projects you want to continue to develop in this dynamic group of artists. All skill levels are welcome to join in the fun and find your own creative expression through refinement of Mixed Media techniques. You don't need everything on your first day, just come on in and we will get you all set up! Instructional support and collaborative brainstorming combining a creative space for the flow of your artistic endeavors.

Age: 16+

(All Kids under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an Adult. If the Adult wishes to participate in the class, they must also register.)

Suggested Supplies:

Drawing paper

Acrylic paints (titanium white, mars black, red -alizarin, blue- ultramarine, cadmium yellow, and any other colors you love)

Gel medium

Brushes, pencils, sharpie, scissors and tape are all useful

Water container and towel rags for cleanup

Drop cloth for table
