Join Evelyn Paige for a fun and inspiring hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the art of decoupage while creating beautiful coastal-inspired home décor using a variety of surfaces, textures, and natural materials. This creative class is designed for beginners and experienced crafters alike and focuses on teaching artistic techniques that can be used on many different materials and projects.

Students will learn how to decoupage and embellish items using decorative papers, printed rice paper sentiments, coastal textures, and natural elements gathered along the beautiful Gulf of Mexico beaches, including seashells, sea grass, driftwood, frosted sea glass, jute cording, and more. Evelyn will provide a large assortment of decorative materials for students to use throughout the workshop, but students are also welcome to bring meaningful beach finds, shells, hand-written sentiments, stickers or keepsakes of their own to incorporate into their artwork.

Each Student Will Create:

  • One framed item:

    • 8"x10" frame OR

    • 5"x5" frame

PLUS Choose TWO of the Following:

  • Wood, ceramic, or shell ornament

  • Glass candle holder or vase

  • Wooden tray

  • Decorative wood base

  • Small treasure box

During the workshop, students will learn:

  • The fundamentals of decoupage application techniques

  • How to work with different materials and surfaces

  • How to layer textures and coastal embellishments

  • Design placement and composition tips

  • How to incorporate natural beach elements into artwork

  • Finishing techniques using either protective spray sealers or resin depending on the selected project and desired finish

The creative possibilities are endless — just bring your imagination, and Evelyn will share hers with the class. Each student will leave with completed handmade pieces ready to display, gift, or enjoy at home.

No prior experience is necessary, and all materials are included unless students choose to bring personal decorative items or beach treasures to customize their creations.

All materials are included. Please bring a snack and beverage with you.
