Artist AgreementBy submitting an application and participating in Brushes on the Beach: A Plein Air & Sunset Celebration, the artist acknowledges and agrees to the event requirements and Terms & Conditions stated herein.Sales & CommissionAll artwork exhibited during the event must be available for sale. The Beach Art Center will retain a 30% commission on the final sale price of artwork sold through the event. The artist will receive 70% of the final sale price. Artist payments for sold artwork will be issued within 30 days following the event.Artwork Delivery & Pick-UpCompleted competition artwork must be delivered to the Beach Art Center no later than 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 5, 2026. Unsold artwork may be picked up following the conclusion of the Reception & Silent Auction at 7:00 PM. Unless prior arrangements have been approved by the Beach Art Center, artwork not picked up within the designated timeframe may be considered a donation to the Beach Art Center.Photography & Promotional UseParticipating artists grant the Beach Art Center permission to photograph submitted and exhibited artwork and to use photographs, artist names, and event imagery for event promotion, publicity, social media, website content, archival purposes, and related Beach Art Center communications. The Beach Art Center is not responsible for unauthorized photography or use of artwork by event attendees or other third parties.Liability & Hold HarmlessArtists participate in the plein air painting event at their own risk and are responsible for their personal safety, equipment, materials, and artwork while painting at their designated locations.The Beach Art Center is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to artwork or personal property before, during, or after the event, regardless of cause. Artists are encouraged to maintain their own insurance coverage as appropriate.By submitting this application and participating in the event, the artist agrees to release and hold harmless The Gulf Beach Art Center, Inc., doing business as Beach Art Center, its Board of Directors, employees, volunteers, event partners, and representatives from claims for loss, theft, damage, or injury arising from participation in the event, to the extent permitted by law.
