WELCOME TO THE BEACH
Art is healing. Anyone who has held a brush, a pencil or shaped a bit of clay transforming those elements into something of their own creation has experienced this healing effect.
And what better place to feel completely relaxed and inspired, than on the beach?
Whether you're into traditional media like drawing, oils and watercolor, enjoy sculpting with clay or like playing with mixed media, collage and acrylics - you'll have plenty of choices.
And if you just want to have a studio space with good light and other artists to paint with, we offer Open Studio hours.
Local art centers and galleries like the Beach Art Center bring the arts to people where they live and play. Today, the mission of the Beach Art Center is “to inspire lifelong learning, empower the individual, and engage the community of all ages in the creative arts”.
We opened our doors in 1978, this year we joyfully celebrate our 43rd Anniversary.
